Aotu World: The Minstrel

Some are blessed by the gods, some break free from their shackles. Some endure in silence, some give free rein to their feelings. Some pray and divine, some shoulder their duty. Some cut their own path through the thorns, some are born as twins yet take different roads. They rush headlong into the game, overturning its false chessboard without hesitation. Now that the Creator's will has grown unclear, this endless journey is a treasure in itself.

Some will do anything for freedom. Some were once saved and have given everything ever since. Some are used to deceiving others, but step forward when betrayal and lies abound. Some are so passionate and sincere that others would gladly protect them. Some are born kings, carefree and self-assured. Some plot and scheme, breaking faith until all answer their call. Some are built like steel, yet love blindly once their hearts are moved. Some find a place to belong, only to be bewitched by unrequited love. Some chase across the grasslands, then seek only to restore what was lost. Some leave their confusion behind, their escape ending in dust.

They, once the dust has settled, fear being alone, and find joy in companionship once more along the way. If the gods' blessing is forever out of reach, then the companions who journey with you are the ones to protect with all your heart.

Some don white robes and take divine words as their command, surrounded by solemn gods. They see through the differences in everyone's hearts. When the curtain falls, they don't seek to change things. Will they repeat the past?

Some make the barren land bloom, their smiles as lovely as flowers and brocade. Before the friends and family of their homeland, they once swore to great ambitions. Even if victory is nothing but a trick, they remain trapped by circumstance, day after day, never letting go of their convictions. After several cycles, those who came before will walk the same road again.

Some sit alone before the altar of the gods, some break free of their restraints. Some turn the tides, but who gets to tell the story of black and white?
