Not wanting the medicine to go to waste, he poured the rest of his heatstroke remedy down the boy's throat on the spot.

The boy opened his eyes. Before he could say anything, his face turned red. "Are you the little fairy from the village legends?"

Lin Yaoran: "...You figured it out, huh."

From childhood on, Lin Yaoran had been treated like a precious, fragile treasure. After coming to the countryside, even his ridiculous lies were treated as gospel by that boy.

The boy: "How about we go catch fireflies together tomorrow?"

Lin Yaoran couldn't be bothered to move. He smiled gently. "If I leave the ancestral hall, I'll die."

But late the next night, the boy pushed open the hall door with dirt-covered hands, bringing him a sky full of fireflies himself.

As an adult, Lin Yaoran became AZURE, a legendary music producer in the music industry who never showed his face. But just as he was becoming a sensation, the old man insisted that he come home and get engaged. His intended was none other than He Qiudu, a top-tier star in the industry.

Everyone knew that Young Master He was also born into a wealthy family, and was hailed as an unshakable seaside mansion.

Because his heart had always belonged to his white moonlight, no one else could catch his eye, not even the young master of the Lin family.

He didn't even show up to the engagement banquet, sending someone else to call off the engagement instead.

During the team selection, He Qiudu's hand took a sudden turn and clasped AZURE's.

AZURE: "Mr. He, what's wrong with your hand?"

He Qiudu: "Cramp."

During filming, the guests played a lip-reading challenge. He Qiudu recognized AZURE's lips at a glance.

The host asked why.

He Qiudu: "I've kissed him."

Someone viciously pinched his butt under the table.

Keeping his voice low, He Qiudu said only for the person beside him to hear, "Very sweet."

He'd secretly kissed him years ago in that rural ancestral hall. Only he knew what the fairy tasted like, out of everyone in the world.
