No Songs in the Forbidden Palace

After losing her memory in the Cold Palace, Tong Yan forgets everything about her past.

The only thing she hears is her maid constantly telling her how spoiled and difficult she used to be, and how the emperor doted on her and indulged her, cherishing her like the apple of his eye...

Tong Yan takes it all as a joke.

Who would have thought it might actually be true one day?

Tong Yan was once the most favored woman in the imperial harem. But her overly arrogant and domineering temper displeased the emperor, and she was banished to the Cold Palace for more than a year. Everyone still remembers how the emperor gritted his teeth and hated her with every fiber of his being. Anything connected to her was a sore subject, and everyone assumed she had long since died in the Cold Palace.

But who could have expected that she would one day leave and return to the harem?

So what if she pretends to have amnesia and acts pitiful? There's no way she could ever regain the emperor's favor!

But now...

The chief eunuch covers his forehead, thinking: This woman has no heart. Your Majesty, how can you fall into the same trap twice?

"To love him means breaking his backbone, tearing off his wings, and imprisoning him in a world where I'm all he has.

Your Majesty, you taught me how to love someone this way.

You've asked me so many times, and at last I can answer you.

Yes, I love you."

Note:

This is an old-school melodramatic story that's not quite palace intrigue, and the heroine gradually becomes more and more outrageous.

Though the heroine seems a little weak at first because she's lost her memory, she's actually no pushover.

The male lead is crazy, and the female lead is even crazier.

It won't be very long. It's a self-indulgent, wish-fulfillment story with a happy ending already decided.

Theme: You reap what you sow.
