Weak Waters

When she was five, someone found her and brought her back to Penglai Palace.

That person became her master, gave her a name, and taught her to read and write, as well as swordsmanship and the arts of immortality.

He also taught her how to live like a person.

On the day she came of age, he gifted her the spirit sword Weakwater and said with a smile:

"Those who seek immortality and the Dao take the power of creation from heaven and earth into themselves. Even if the waters are treacherous and the waves are fierce, why should they be impossible to cross?"

No one could have predicted it then.

Hundreds of years later, she would use that sword to cross the raging waves of the Eastern Sea, storm Penglai Palace, and kidnap her former teacher before everyone's eyes.
