The original work's die-hard fans felt that the story ended a little too abruptly, and that a few more strokes could have been added to the ending. And so this story came to be. It follows the original story from the moment Jin Mi turns into a tear and falls, through to before the happily-ever-after ending, then on to life after marriage and the birth of Mi Huang. It tells the whole story of Jin Mi being reborn and Fenghuang pursuing his wife for a second time (or perhaps Jin Mi pursuing her husband, haha). I hope all the Ashes of Love girls get the happy ending they deserve!
