How to Save a Dying God

Yun Qing is the last god in the world.

He has lost his incense offerings and lives alone in a shabby little temple, waiting to fade away.

But suddenly, all kinds of visitors begin showing up at the little temple

A mute villager carefully wipes the dust from his statue with clean water.

A young girl from a wealthy family he once protected brings him fresh fruit and flower buds every day.

An old man with a hunched back slowly tends the fields in front of the temple.

His only young believer lights incense for him, eyes shining.

Only later does Yun Qing finally realize that every one of these visitors is a form taken by the same person: his former enemy.

His enemy has long since abandoned his divine identity. Now he possesses glory and splendor, standing invincible, yet every day he keeps watch over a dying god.

Later, the handsome, black-haired enemy bites Yun Qing's lips and whispers in his ear:

"I am your only believer.

All I want is for you to live."

Yun Qing always wears the white robe made from his divine power. It is marked with tears and worn patches, the result of his dwindling faith.

He is always bent over casually, crouching on the statue, with a glimpse of his delicate waist, bright white against the dark.

His enemy, in disguise, can't help thinking: Hmph... What an eyesore.

Then he takes another look.

Theme: Faith can change fate.
