In an age when the great universe is in decline, the apocalypse descends upon one planet after another. Everyone is terrified and flees in all directions.
When Lu Lianyou hears the news, she is packing at home. Her parents' adopted son, her not-quite-real older brother, suddenly shows up. Following their parents' arrangement, he is supposed to take her alone outside the city.
