Scheming [ABO]

[Provisional blurb]

On my seventeenth birthday, an accident left me an orphan.

Actually, living with my gambling addict, alcoholic dad had been worse than being an orphan. I wasn't sad, but the thought of what came next made me anxious.

Under federal laws protecting minors, any minor without relatives must be adopted by someone of the same ABO designation, so they can learn the proper rules of life.

The day after my birthday, I was sent to live with an adult Alpha man.

He was a soldier, apparently a high-ranking one. He was tall and broad, rarely smiled, and had a gaze as sharp as a knife, especially when he looked at my report card.

I soon came to terms with it. It was only a year; couldn't I just tough it out?

That was until things spiraled further and further out of control, and I began plotting to seduce the man who had adopted me.

P.S.

1. An unconventional healing story, AA romance, one-on-one, happy ending.

2. The main story is told in third person. The romantic relationship won't develop while the adoption is still in effect.

Theme: There's no shame in needing love.
