Lin Zhi's debut livestream was devoted to the wildly popular Western fantasy full-dive online game, Fantasy Realm.
When choosing a class, Lin Zhi picked the system's random option, figuring it would make for a fun gimmick.
[System] Your random class is: Fortune-Telling Sage.
And just like that, Lin Zhi became famous.
Han Jiangxi played as a priest, yet had long held the top spot on Fantasy Realm's PvP rankings.
During an arena match one day, the system found him an opponent...
A beginner-ranked player?
He raised his staff, ready to finish the fight quickly and then report the bug to customer support.
Then his opponent said, "Your glabella looks dark. Your luck is terrible. In one second, a bird is going to poop in your eye and leave you blind for a minute."
The flapping of wings swept past. Before he could even wonder why there were birds in the arena, something cold landed on his forehead, and a blindness debuff appeared on Han Jiangxi.
A beginner's sword pierced his heart...
[System] You were defeated by player "Knowing What You Know." Ladder rating: -50.
Not long afterward, the many players of Fantasy Realm noticed that the once-fierce priest who never wasted words had somehow teamed up with a newly popular and beautiful streamer as her permanent arena partner, and even become her "fragile, helpless" pocket healer.
"They're all picking on me, the helpless support who can't even swat a chicken. Hubby feels so wronged. Honey, go get them. Talk them to death."
The tall priest in white cowered behind a little girl dressed in a black-and-white lab coat.
The livestream chat was full of question marks.
Theme: Luck is part of one's strength too.
