[Harry Potter] Mr. Woodenhead

Oliver Wood, Gryffindor's brown-haired Keeper, accidentally ate chocolate mixed with a Love Potion. On Valentine's Day in 1992, he fell madly in love with Cedric Diggory, Hufflepuff's brown-haired heartthrob.

Once he came to his senses, Wood found the whole thing shameful and absurd, and hoped never to see Cedric again for as long as he lived.

In 1995, seventeen-year-old Cedric died. Yet Wood, who had sworn they would never see each other again, collapsed over Cedric's body and wept inconsolably.

Everyone thought he was simply mourning a worthy rival on the Quidditch pitch. Only Moaning Myrtle, who often wandered from bathroom to bathroom, knew how the handsome, polite new Hufflepuff prefect had pinned Gryffindor's brown-haired lion against the edge of the bath that summer in 1994.
