Twin Flowers [City Personification]

Literary Chengdu versus spirited Chongqing: the calling cards of two cities.

They have walked together through long ages, from war and turmoil to springtime and blooming flowers, always by each other's side. I am but a tiny speck in this vast land of China, fortunate enough to have “witnessed” the character of these two.

Simply put, this is a travelogue. The cities are personified, so please keep that in mind. I've put everything I wanted to say in the author's notes. All the character details are my own inventions. If you don't like my subjective descriptions, please don't read. I did some research before personifying them, but this is mainly for fun, so please don't scrutinize it too closely.

Chengdu: Ye Jinrong. Chongqing: Li Jiayu. Both are women~

Main character: Zhouzhou (me)

Core Idea: You and I are each one of our motherland's twin flowers.
