Thanks for all your support!] Many years ago, Bian Qi once asked He Zhiyi what he looked for in a girlfriend. He Zhiyi glanced at Bian Qi, who barely came up to his chest, then looked past her at the sign for her school. With his almond-shaped eyes half-lidded, he replied carelessly, "I don't have any big requirements..." "I just don't really like long-distance relationships where we're more than five kilometers apart, so ideally, we'd both be studying at Nanda." Bian Qi: "..." Nanjing University was the top university in the country. With Bian Qi's grades at the time, she probably couldn't get in even if she worked hard for ten lifetimes. The heavy silence swallowed her. After a long while, Bian Qi said, "Actually, I think relationships between people are kind of a false proposition. Sometimes, keeping a proper distance is a pretty good choice, too." With that, Bian Qi turned and walked away. He Zhiyi smiled, unbothered, and took her for a child acting on a whim. Years later, when He Zhiyi returned to his alma mater to pursue his doctorate, he unexpectedly spotted Bian Qi walking around campus. She ran up to him, panting, and gazed at him with wide, pleading eyes. Grabbing his sleeve, she said nervously, "Y-you can't go back on your word!"
