Wearing Down the Fury

Rong Jin was famously bad-tempered and stingy. Lin Yaoyue was her complete opposite.

In Rong Jin's eyes, Lin Yaoyue was an innocent young lady who knew nothing of the world, a little fan completely won over by her great talent.

What left Rong Jin even more exasperated was that Lin Yaoyue wasn't innocent at all, and was actually older than her. She'd been calling her "little sister" for half a year!

Rong Jin: I'll never admit that Lin Yaoyue is older than me.

Later, Rong Jin coaxed Lin Yaoyue: "Sister Yaoyue, where are we going today?"

Lin Yaoyue felt that Rong Jin always managed to surprise her, but one thing had never changed.

When they first met, she thought Rong Jin was a prickly child. In truth, she still was.

All she needed to do was spoil her.

One day, Lin Yaoyue looked at the prickly Rong Jin and smiled. "You're so cute."

Rong Jin turned away. "Don't say sweet nothings. They have no meaning. I never do anything meaningless."

Later...

A drunk Rong Jin hugged Lin Yaoyue, breathed in her fragrance, and praised her. "Sister Yaoyue, you're so beautiful."

Lin Yaoyue laughed. "Are you trying to sweet-talk me? I remember you said that was meaningless."

With flushed cheeks, Rong Jin replied solemnly, "I don't say meaningless things."

Rong Jin, who had always found fault with everything, began to change. She touched her hair, which had grown longer, and couldn't bear to cut it.

Because every morning, someone gently combed it for her.

Cold, stern, short-tempered bad girl x cunning, warm, understanding woman

Rong Jin, who thinks she's the older sister but acts like a child x Lin Yaoyue, a mature and gentle older woman

Please note:

1. Rong Jin has a difficult personality and behaves strangely.

2. Lin Yaoyue really does spoil Rong Jin like a gentle older sister.

3. They fall in love over time and are mutually attracted, not love at first sight.

4. A cozy slice-of-life story.

Theme: Treat others with kindness and live in harmony. Her tenderness softened all the thorns in me.
