The Story of Xia He and Luo Luo

First, I want to make it absolutely clear that this story is entirely fictional. Any resemblance to real people or events is purely coincidental.

The names Xia He and Luo Luo are all over the internet these days, and countless anonymous admirers have joined their fan club.

Fortunately, I’m not one of them.

That doesn’t mean I dislike Xia He and Luo Luo. I’m simply not blindly devoted to them.

As Xia He said on his blog, these days, no matter what he writes or says, most of the replies are people hoping for a romance between him and Luo Luo. Most readers overlook the real substance of his writing.

All they see are the stories they’ve imagined about the two handsome young men, even though those stories aren’t true. They ignore what the people themselves are really trying to express.

I wanted to write this story simply to entertain myself.

I want to leave behind something I like in this noisy world.

It isn’t documentary fiction. I don’t want a lot of attention, and I have no need to boost my so-called fame.

I write only for myself, nothing more.

Writing for commercial reasons isn’t writing a story; it’s fulfilling a contract, and it lacks genuine communication between hearts.

I don’t care how many people read it, or how many like or dislike it.

I’ve decided to leave behind a place where I, and anyone who might share my outlook, can let our hearts rest.

Once again, this story only borrows Xia He and Luo Luo’s story and background. It absolutely does not depict real events.
