I Didn't Know My Spouse Was a Master of the Mystic Arts Until We Married

After successfully getting into college, An Yi plans to pick up some part-time work and show his master the wider world. Then he learns that he has a marriage contract to fulfill.

An Yi gives him a cold look. "Sure, I'm a little bottom, but I haven't even met the guy. He expects me to marry him? Not a chance!"

An Yi sneaks off to his uncle-master's temple and runs into his fiance, who's there for the same reason.

His fiance is perfect in every way, and his face is exactly An Yi's type. Unfortunately, he has a disability.

An Yi ignores the wheelchair and wipes away nonexistent drool from the corner of his mouth. "Honey, I can afford either the dowry or the betrothal gifts! I'll protect you from now on!"

Chu Siyang is a business prodigy and a genius in the occult arts. But his extremely yang constitution has left his legs impaired, making it impossible for him to walk normally. He needs to balance his body with someone who has an extremely yin constitution.

When he was ten, he made a heavenly pact with someone of an extremely yin constitution. At twenty-two, when his pact partner came of age, they were to fulfill their marriage contract.

Chu Siyang watches his little fiance earnestly promise to protect him, then smiles and draws him into his arms.

He hides the possessiveness in his eyes and gently plays along. "Then I'll wait for you to protect me."

Later, An Yi watches his husband crush a fierce ghost with one hand and clutches his heart.
