[Preorder: Rules of the Strange Tales of Mihua Town. Blurb at the bottom. Click here to visit the peaceful and friendly Mihua Town.]

After the System traps Kushi Mingxia in a game world and forces her to clear a dating game, she decides to pursue friendship routes only to avoid a love triangle.

The bandage-wearing guy, the hat rack, the office drone, the rice ball, the policewoman... Take your friend cards.

The red-haired, blue-haired, and green-haired people in Tokyo, come get your friend cards for yourselves and your subordinates.

But why is there still a love triangle?!

Then one day, the terrible System hit a new low.

After an upgrade, a new favorability panel appeared on the System interface.

And the original favorability panel now had a prefix: Kushi Mingxia's.

Kushi Mingxia looked at the [Favorability] panel on the left, then at the [Kushi Mingxia's Favorability] panel on the right.

Her pupils trembled!

So the love triangle before had been fake!

Rules of the Strange Tales of Mihua Town

A revolutionary full-dive game, Crime City, announced its closed beta. The game's setting was Mihua, a town with the same name as a real place.

At the start of the game, player Moriyama Izayo drew a random identity.

[Identity: Detective]

[Ability acquired: Precognition]

One glance at the curly-haired police officer in the distance: [The person you know is not him.]

One glance at the blond young man beside you, full of ambition: [He has more than one face.]

One glance at the silver-haired man brimming with murderous intent: [Trust him. Obey him.]

Moriyama Izayo: 6

The players in this game are all sorts of people, a wild and chaotic bunch. You can even run into elementary schoolers.

Moriyama Izayo, an utterly ordinary person, is one of the unfortunate souls dragged along by the strange tale (.).

At its core, Crime City is a rules-based strange tale called a [role-playing game]. As one of the top ten employees, Moriyama Izayo's job is to be a diligent NPC and ensure the players have a good gaming experience.

[Dear avid player, this game will be receiving an update as of today. User data from the previous version, "Bingcheng," will not be retained. We look forward to your continued support of the new version, "Mihua."]

Moriyama Izayo, who discovered that he'd lost his NPC status, stared in shock. Wait! Boss, you're not getting rid of your hardworking, loyal employee, are you?!

Moriyama Izayo can't live without work, just as fish can't live without water!

After one day without work, I feel like ants are crawling all over me.jpg

#No choice, I'll find myself something to do#

#The world is divided between red and black, and I'm the double agent standing in the middle, yelling for them to fight#
