Good Fortune in the 1970s

1. After Jiang Li falls into a manhole with no cover, she becomes Jiang Xi, an educated youth sent down to the countryside in the 1970s, and receives a System prompt. If she can find someone named 'Lin,' 'Wang,' and 'Pei,' and get him to study hard and pass the university entrance exams, she'll have a chance to return home.

Hey! Who cares if it's a loss or a gain, as long as I can get back!

But when Jiang Li finds the supposed 'Lin Wangpei,' she discovers that the mission difficulty is off the charts. She's someone who can only scrape a passing grade in every subject, and now she's supposed to get an idle village bully into Peking University. She'd have an easier time flying to the heavens herself~~

2. Lin Wangbei notices that among the new batch of educated youths, one girl often stands in front of him, muttering quotations from the Chairman: "Only by studying hard can we improve every day," and "As sons and daughters of China, we study for China's rise..."

Finally, one day, he can't resist teasing her. "I want to study hard too, but my mother keeps pushing me to find a wife. If I can't find one, then..." He trails off and gives the female educated youth a look that says, You know what I mean.

She has to worry about his studies and his lifelong happiness too? The female educated youth is suffering inside. In the end, all she can do is thump her chest and promise, "Leave it to me."

Some time later, news spreads through the village that the village big shot and the village beauty are getting engaged. The female educated youth goes to claim her credit with a smile, only to be glared at and thrown out by the village bully.

The female educated youth is baffled: Is getting engaged not enough? Does he need to sleep with her before he can focus on his studies?

* A lucky female educated youth x a somewhat ruffian village bully

* An alternate-history setting, not entirely faithful to historical fact, and intended only as a reference.

* The logic is novice-level, so please don't scrutinize it.
