In the year 3000 AD, Earth reached the limit of its carrying capacity. Natural disasters grew more frequent: gales, torrential rain, volcanic eruptions, meteorite impacts... The movement of Earth's plates accelerated dramatically, and wars broke out among nations as a result. The world descended into chaos. Asia, with its rapidly advancing technology, was hit particularly hard. Under these circumstances, the number of immigrants to Asia surged, and inadequate welfare policies and other shortcomings fueled internal tensions. In 2080 AD, the Asian nations united to form the Blue Nation, which had no permanent leader and instead operated on a rotating basis. As immigrants continued to pour in, the Commander faction, led by Q, quickly rose to power. Its main policy was to suppress immigrants, put Blue Nation citizens first, and establish a class system. The Commander faction then turned its attention to the other continents, provoking wars. In 3050 AD, some Blue Nation citizens grew dissatisfied with the faction's actions, and the Peach Haven faction, formed by young people, was thrust into the public eye. Immigrants joined in droves. A neutral faction emerged. In 3054 AD, the world united and was renamed Blue Star, with the Commander faction in charge. In 3077 AD, the Peach Haven faction announced to the public that it had created a virtual world. Members of the Peach Haven and neutral factions could enter and create their own virtual bodies. The virtual world was mainly modeled on life in the twenty-first century. Once the news broke, Blue Star's people rushed to sign up. Faced with this situation, the Commander faction's leader implemented a policy of suppression and declared war on the Peach Haven faction. In 3079 AD, the war ended, and the Peach Haven and Commander factions signed an agreement witnessed by the neutral faction.
