Getting Into Character [Entertainment Industry]

Blurb

Xu Yunkai became a star the moment he debuted. He was the dark horse who won Best New Actor on the night of the Venice Film Festival, but on the night he returned to China, he found Berlin Film Festival Best Actor Chen Zhi, dressed as a woman and passed out drunk outside his home.

Chen Zhi had developed a cross-dressing compulsion after becoming too absorbed in a role, losing the boundary between reality and fiction. By chance, Xu Yunkai discovered his true identity. But instead of coming to his senses and putting an end to it all, Chen Zhi only seemed to sink deeper and demanded that Xu Yunkai play out this "great performance" with him.

Xu Yunkai thought it was just a real-life role-playing game between the two of them. When the game ended, they would part ways.

After Xu Yunkai left without a backward glance, Chen Zhi realized he hadn't been entirely acting. At some point, he had fallen in love with the other man. Once he came to his senses, he wasted no time setting off on a mission to win him back.

Xu Yunkai announced that he was leaving the industry without a trace of regret and going abroad to pursue further studies. But there he ran into his "ex-boyfriend," who had traveled thousands of miles to chase after him.

Xu Yunkai: Huh? So this time you want to "make the fake real"?
