Big Sister Comes First

Lie Chen is a female cannon-fodder character.

A cannon-fodder character is someone forced to burn through her entire life to illuminate others, sacrificing herself for their benefit. Her existence is simply to serve as a foil to the protagonist.

That protagonist is her blood-related older sister.

This was supposed to be a story about a simple, pitiful cannon-fodder character living under the enormous shadow of her universally adored heroine sister, leveling up and fighting monsters until she successfully turned into a major villain.

But after Lie Chen joined an assassins' guild, entered the entertainment industry, stole her sister's man, and finally imprisoned that favored daughter of heaven, the nation's beloved big sister, she realized that her sister had been letting her have her way all along.

Watching her younger sister inch toward a painful abyss, Lie Yao could do nothing to stop her. In the end, she handed her power over to her.

Reborn into that life, Lie Chen had given up. She had no idea how to face the older sister who seemed to do nothing for her on the surface, yet indulged her in everything. What Lie Chen didn't know was that Lie Yao had also been reborn.
