Your Teacher

Ming Wen, founding master of the Bu Xizhou sect, accepted disciples regardless of their backgrounds or cultivation levels. Whenever demonic or yao cultivators ran into problems with their training, they could go to Bu Xizhou for her help. She also founded the Xiaoyao Alliance, helping independent cultivators escape the oppression of the great sects and find their own place in the world, free and unrestrained. The cultivators who had benefited from her kindness all respectfully called her the Sage Master. Only Ming Wen herself knew that her life had been an utter failure. Every one of her personal disciples was disobedient and unfilial, and they had even gotten her killed. A thousand years later, the Sage Master's personal disciples had all become rulers of their own territories. Each of them had a place in their hearts that no one else was allowed to defile in the slightest, a place called "Master." Ming Wen was reborn and unexpectedly joined the Linghuang Sect, becoming a lowly menial servant outside the sect. Ming Wen: Linghuang? Isn't that the bamboo that summons dead souls? They've planted it all over the mountains. Aren't they afraid of turning their sect into a haunted house? The Linghuang Sect Master: If that's what it takes to summon you back, then a haunted house it is. Theme: Always respect your teacher.
