At the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, Yuan Shao's army seized Jizhou and massacred everyone at the general's residence. When Guo Jia was young, Madam Ju, a friend of his mother, adopted him. He went to great lengths to infiltrate Yuan Shao's camp and wreaked havoc on his own. But then a former close friend exposed him, and he was hunted down.
On a dark and stormy night, Cao Cao had hoped to play the hero and rescue a beauty, but instead he saved Guo Fengxiao, who was being hunted. Suspicious, Cao Cao initially intended to kill him, but a mark on his wrist reminded him of the kindness Guo Jia had shown him ten years earlier, when he helped him through a snowy night.
It's better to gather firewood together than fight alone.
To avenge himself, Guo Jia decisively joined Cao Wei, and Cao Cao cherished his little fox, indulging him at every turn.
The proud, stubborn Guo Fengxiao joins forces with the ruthless Cao Mengde to unify the north.
[Reading Guide]
1. Apologies for the out-of-character moments. The young protagonist was once cowardly and has his flaws. I'm not sure if that might be a dealbreaker, but if so, feel free to skip it.
2. Both the main story and extras are complete. The main story has a slightly bittersweet ending that may leave you unsatisfied, but the extras have Guo Jia transmigrating into another world and lots of sweet moments (bows).
3. Also featuring a no-romance story: "When Guo Jia Becomes the Little Rabbit Master of the Sima Clan", by Moshang Ren Ru Yi.
It mainly tells the story of how Guo Jia, former libationer of the Wei army, turns into a white rabbit after death, gets bound to "Old Scoundrel Sima," and scams and schemes his way through a journey to fulfill his wish from a past life.
Sorry, this story really isn't popular. I hope you'll show both novels some love. Some of their settings are connected, but they're also different.
Theme: Love that endures beyond death
It made me cry late at night. Thank you, the author. Thank you.
Second brush, still so sweet~
Madam, should you consider Cao Guo Chenlu's extra story (excited)
Woo woo woo please praise (bow)
Sweetened me into a pond spirit, cut me into a corpse, and finally made me crazy with sweetness
Hahahaha, I suddenly clicked on it and found that the extra chapter was actually finished! (Surprise)
I like Tang Wei's temperament^o^
Guo Jia: When you are happy, you are a little fox; when you are unhappy, you are a little bunny. Hey, man!
Hard work and filial piety^o^ Very talented
It's like this (poke your finger), because I participated in the school's summer practical activity [14 days], where I had to visit and investigate various things, and there were many and complicated things. The daily working hours are about 7:00---22:00, so it may take several days to update an article. But don't worry!!! I won't give up!!! I promise I will write more when I have free time to make up for it emm... Just Jiang Zi, thank you for your support!
