(Crossover) The Divine Altar

During the Taisho era, I saved a boy who had been injured by a demon in the mountains. He said his name was Rengoku Kyojuro, that he was a Kinoe-ranked member of the Demon Slayer Corps, and that he lived to kill demons. That sounded terrifying. Once he had healed, I sent him away from the mountain, intending to go on living here alone in solitude. But I never expected him to come back and visit me several times over the following years. Every time, he tried to persuade me to leave, take me somewhere safer and away from the demons, and arrange a house for me. I told him that the day he stopped living to kill demons, I would go down the mountain with him. Sadly, I never lived to see that day. Theme: For him, I would fall into the mortal world and become someone who can feel pain.
