Zhang San, a hardened criminal who has appeared on countless episodes of Legal Lecture.
He frequents prostitutes without paying, takes money without doing the job, and embezzles without technically breaking the law. That's just how he operates.
In other people's eyes:
He's the textbook example of a criminal! He commits multiple crimes in a single day!
He extorts children! Beats up the elderly! Poisons company executives! Raids the home of a cross-dressing man at night! Steals other people's wives!
He's a lawless maniac, rotten to the core, inside and out... A paper person.
One day, as he opened the Criminal Law to see what he should get up to, some strange thing calling itself the Good Person Reform System came looking for him. It said it could take him out of the paper world and let him experience real life in other dimensions.
But from then on, he had to be a law-abiding citizen?
Pah! Is that any way for a mighty lawless maniac to behave?! You're insulting me!!
Indignant Zhang San, pounding his chest: "Absolutely OJBK! Doing good deeds? That's my specialty!"
Zhang San agreed on the surface, but inwardly scoffed. Who could possibly keep a master criminal like him in check?
But once he entered the new world...
Master Zhang, who had spent half his life running wild, discovered that he couldn't even pry up a manhole cover...
All he could do was squat nearby and watch his criminal buddies rob banks, blow up bridges, and throw destructive parties with aliens...
When it was all over, his buddies ran off, leaving the innocent him to be chased and arrested by the world's various vigilante superheroes and major-crime investigators...
Zhang San: What kind of miserable life is this...? Damn it! System, you little bastard!!!!!
# A completely illogical, silly, nonsensical romp. There's not much to analyze.
# My writing is terrible, with lots of made-up lore, major OOC, and plenty of bugs. Please be patient with me.
# I'm currently focusing on another novel, so updates for this one will be irregular.
Theme: Good deeds take effort, and it's hard to be a good person.
