You're the Brightest

The last human on the wasteland died, with her own heart in her hand when she did. But when she opened her eyes again, she saw people once more. Living, breathing people. She became a rich heiress. The thing that troubled her most each day was how to make her dream guy fall in love with her. For someone who had scraped by on the wasteland, such worries seemed like a fantasy. Su Ke didn't know what it meant to like someone, but she knew the color of a human heart, the temperature of blood, and the shape of bones. She thought everyone living in this bustling world was sick. As it happened, they all thought Su Ke was sick, too. Until one day, Su Ke met her therapist. Su Ke: "Living is exhausting, but it's good to be alive." Xia Yuanzhi: "Being alive and living your life are two different things. There's always something in this world worth striving for." Su Ke: "Like what?" Xia Yuanzhi: "Like me, trying to make you fall in love with this world." Su Ke: "Then there's no need to go to all that trouble. There's already something in this world worth striving for. I like you. You're the one I'd work for, the one who could turn being alive into truly living." Xia Yuanzhi is in Su Ke's heart, and a flower blooming on the wasteland. But Xia Yuanzhi thinks the girl she likes shouldn't have to change herself just for her. She is the most wonderful thing in this world. She deserves to become a ray of light.
