Check out my new ongoing story: "The Demon Cultivator Wants to Spend Thirty Fewer Years Struggling," also known as "The Child Groom Wants to Spend Thirty Fewer Years Struggling"
Min Shanwen wakes up in the middle of a group beating. He shields his head and knocks over a bucket of filthy water, leaving him reeking from head to toe. And that's not even the worst part: he's a failed scholar, cheated and swindled until he's penniless, and a bowl of steamed-bun soup has left his cheek injured.
Down and out, stinking, and ugly.
When rebel forces breach the imperial city, soldiers surround him. He thinks he'll simply die.
Instead, someone holds a knife to his neck and says, "Go on, get her pregnant."
Min Shanwen cautiously lifts the curtain. A beauty with tear-filled eyes looks up at him.
Min Shanwen: "Do you want to die?"
The beauty: "..."
She hates him to the core, but she has no wish to die.
I haven't lived long enough yet, Min Shanwen thinks, gritting his teeth. "I was forced into this too!"
Blurb for the ongoing story "The Demon Cultivator Wants to Spend Thirty Fewer Years Struggling"
Gu Jun was a heaven-blessed prodigy, but after being framed and wronged, his cultivation was crippled by his sect and he was driven down the mountain. He fell into the demonic path, abandoned goodness, and lost his humanity. In the end, he couldn't escape Heaven's judgment. A lightning tribulation reduced him to ashes, leaving only a wisp of his soul to linger in a world without spiritual energy.
He sees a family steal someone else's daughter and claim they found her, pretending to rescue the girl from a life of misery. They raise her as a child bride, then, under the family's oppression, try to wring every last bit of value out of her.
Her adoptive parents are as cruel as snakes and scorpions, unfit to be called human. Even Gu Jun, a great villain, can't stand them and longs to strangle the old couple. Just then, he possesses the family's precious son.
But a voice from the heavens tells him that if he gains supreme power, he can return to the cultivation world and pursue immortality.
And one shortcut to power is winning the favor of the empress. So Gu Jun decides to become an official and enter the palace...
When he takes part in the empress's selection of handsome men, he looks up and sees the heir to the throne sitting beside her. It's that pitiful girl, his former wife.
Theme: Our first meeting may not have been beautiful, but we'll work hard together. I won't give up on you, and you won't give up on me. Together, we'll become better and better.
I really like Boss Min's decision to leave. I have loved you for a long time and compromised for you for a long time. Now I still love you but I don't want to compromise anymore. Love with only one party compromising will not last long
Gave up the throne to be with him
It sucks. Although the subject matter is pretty good, it's actually not that good to watch. What's even more fatal is that the author looks like he has never studied Chinese in primary school. There are many sentences in each chapter of the whole text that are missing arms and legs, and it reads like a crazy history.
It's so hard to watch, but I'm reluctant to give up.
The author writes very well, although there are some typos
It is an excellent article with well-developed characters. I haven't seen such attractive male and female protagonists in a long time. However, there are also many bugs and incorrect sentences in the language. Maybe I wrote it too quickly and didn't fix it, which made it very difficult to read.
It's too bad, you're such an anticlimactic, it's so bad, you paid the wrong thing after all.
Leave your name in the whole book. Hehe, I really like this kind of heroine. She is cold and arrogant. This may be the ideal type. Unfortunately, she lacks a bit of domineering attributes, which is only shown in the library. I really like her. Thanks to the author, I have another wife since then, hehehehehehe
I just want to know how to change my name
Isn't there a side story?
