[Due to the author's limitations, this story is on hold for now]
There is a secluded island like a paradise beyond the world, called Yi'an Town. A young woman named Ye Yu runs a little tavern there. Everyone who comes to town stops by for a bowl of tea or wine, then leaves behind a story.
One young man loves telling stories about heroes, but those are the tales Ye Yu likes least of all.
Every time, she just smiles and shakes her head, stubbornly repeating the same words: There will be no heroes in Yi'an Town. Never.
--
Jiang Yang once wandered into Ye Yu's study by mistake. On the deepest shelf, he saw a book with his own name on it.
He took it down and asked Ye Yu with a laugh if she'd made him the hero of a tale, and whether she'd written him as a mighty, upright champion.
Ye Yu's face was as still as water. Without a word, she snatched the book from his hands and pushed him out of the study.
After that, a heavy lock appeared on the study door.
There was something Jiang Yang never mentioned: that day, he saw more than just his own name. He saw the names of every person in Yi'an Town.
Ye Yu had carefully sorted all the books bearing their names and kept them on the deepest shelf in her study, where no one could see them.
Only after a townsfolk member left Yi'an Town would Ye Yu take out their book, tear off the label bearing their name, and carefully place it on a shelf in the tavern for people to read.
Those books were the stories of their lives.

- This is probably a collection of interconnected stories
- Don't expect the author to act like a responsible person
- No angst in the romance
Theme: Alone, I shine upon myself; my heart and courage are pure as ice and snow
Ah, here, I misread the word count and thought there was a big fat chapter of 9,000 words??? Looking forward to the author's big update later!
