There was once someone who, whenever I got angry, would affectionately flick my nose, lean close, look straight into my eyes with his gentle gaze, and tease me with a smile. “Getting angry makes you a silly goose.”

Three years have passed. Yesterday marked three years since then, and no one has said those words to me when I got angry again.

I lifted my head. The figure I had missed a thousand times was right before me.

Was I imagining things?

A sharp pain pierced my heart, because of the woman beside him: a pregnant woman smiling with happiness.

And he was smiling brightly at her.

He wasn't him! If he were, he would never smile at another woman like that.

He died long ago, didn't he? How could it possibly be him?

“You don't recognize me anymore? Feng...” My voice was hoarse and raw, as if it didn't belong to me.

“Feng, do you know her?” the woman beside him asked. Her voice was soft, yet it stabbed into my heart like a blade.

“Are you Lin Xiling? The girl who's been following me these past few days.”

“I lost some of my memories three years ago. I want to get them back, and maybe you can help me.”
