[Blurb] #What's it like to insist on calling a tyrant your older brother?
In her previous life, Xu Yueyuan was a palace maid serving at court. When the rebellious prince Xiao Wujin staged a coup, she was shot dead in front of the Hall of Supreme Harmony.
Time of rebirth: After the rebellious prince usurped the throne and became emperor
Place of rebirth: The tyrant's first selection of consorts
Chosen as a consort, she packed her bags and fled in the middle of the night. At the city gate, she spotted a masked performer, grabbed his sleeve, and begged for help. "My lord, would you sell me this horse?!"
Xiao Wujin's expression darkened, his gaze fixed on the woman's delicate little hand.
Just as the Imperial Guard thought His Majesty would take the woman's life without mercy, Xiao Wujin swung her up onto the horse with him. "Where are you going?"
"Away from Chang'an! Thank you, my lord!" Xu Yueyuan broke into a smile, thinking she'd met a good person.
Later, she made the masked performer, who wore his mask every day, her older brother. Later still, Xu Yueyuan clung to her performer brother and complained about the tyrant's treatment of her. "Xiao Wujin isn't even human!"
Xiao Wujin burned with indignation: Actually... he never kills innocent people.
Xu Yueyuan declared angrily: "Brother! You're kindhearted, so you don't know the tyrant's true nature!"
#Everyone else thought Xu Yueyuan was a lamb walking into a tiger's den, doomed to die sooner rather than later. Only Xiao Wujin knew that this woman had utterly broken his heart.
[Content warnings] The title and blurb have been revised. Both leads are each other's first and only partners. Lighthearted, melodramatic, and even a little ridiculous.
[Completed] Sweet historical romances: The Entire Harem Thinks the Noble Consort Is Unfavored / My Beloved Consort Is Beyond Help / Turns Out the Powerful Minister Loves Me. Thank you for supporting the original.

#A little fox tries to win over a thousand-year-old fox, only to end up thoroughly devoured
Shi Yubing was bought from the Imperial Music Academy and sent to the palace as a gift for the emperor.
The emperor has no interest in women?
That's only because he hasn't met me.
At the academy, she never entertained clients. Her main duty was teaching the arts.
The women she tutored either became leading courtesans or favored concubines of the nobility.
Winning over the tyrant? Easy!
Shi Yubing played the zither and performed before the emperor to win his favor.
The emperor listened patiently, then took the instrument and demonstrated himself. "My beloved consort, you played one note incorrectly here."
Shi Yubing discussed ancient books before the emperor to catch his attention.
The emperor recited the entire text from memory. "My beloved consort, if there's anything you don't understand, you can ask me."
The old fox remained gentle and inscrutable. She simply couldn't win him over.
Just then, the powerful nobleman who had sent her to the palace fell from favor.
Shi Yubing packed her bags and prepared to flee, but the emperor stopped her and pulled her back behind the bed curtains. "I haven't finished teaching you, my beloved consort. Where do you think you're going?"
#Teaching and being taught, winning someone over and being won over
Theme: Persevere, root out evildoers, and uphold justice
I personally think that the heroine in the author's novel is probably mentally ill. Normally, people who are not ill would not be able to do such things that insult their IQ. People have told her that she is alone but she still keeps saying that she is not. It makes me sick to the point of vomiting. You say others are nice to her, but she says they have ulterior motives and know how to call out when someone is in trouble. This is not a sweet story, this is a one-woman show with a low-IQ heroine. I also hope that the author will not write such touching novels where the male and female protagonists have low IQs.
This is actually a 2021 article. Judging from the writing style, I thought it was an ancient article.
Wan Baozhen is really stupid. He stood up and said: My late father died for his country. As a child, we should not live in this world. Thank you, Your Majesty. . . What about the heroine? Falling in love and killing each other is more exciting than the sweet story in this article. It's so touching.
Is the heroine a bit silly and sweet?
It's actually pretty good-looking. To be honest, the two of them can continue to compete like this for the rest of their lives. This style of writing is quite novel to be honest.
If you rebel against the king, then rebel against the king. If you have to be so stubborn, then rebel against the king.
The heroine is really cute when she behaves well
I want to see a tyrant competing with his own children for favor.
I feel that the heroine is not stupid, but has no brains. I really couldn't stand it after reading the first three chapters. The background is very good, but the storyline is too simple and thin, like the writing style of a junior author. The heroine has no ability to think at all. I suggest the author to read other people's writings and there is room for improvement.
If you want to change the heroine, silly Baitian is too much!
