This story was posted under another account before. Don’t worry, it’s the same person, and it hasn’t been stolen. Feel free to read it.
Now, please enjoy the synopsis:
The serious version:
When Dai Mubai has a teacher who goes to great lengths to help him become king, when he resolves to fight for a position that was never meant to be his, and when every coincidence is given a purpose, old bonds are exploited, and he sets out on the path to kingship, heading toward an unstoppable outcome.
A butterfly only has to flap its wings to change an era. With a teacher guiding him, Dai Mubai’s fate turns in a different direction.
Please look forward to everything that follows.
The version from someone who has no idea what they’re doing:
For some reason, a young lady and her butler travel to Douluo Dalu to have some fun. One wrong move later, everything goes sideways, and somehow she becomes Dai Mubai’s teacher. Together, she and Dai Mubai embark on a thrilling (not really) journey through the struggles between the royal family.
Excerpt 1:
Dai Mubai’s thoughts on the young lady’s lessons:
Dai Mubai: At first, I wasn’t on board. After all, she was just a strange person. But now, Teacher, could you please stop calling me Xiao Bai? I’m not that little anymore. (Smiles indulgently.)
An Luoli: All right, Xiao Xiao Bai. Got it, Xiao Xiao Bai.
Dai Mubai: What’s the difference from just now?! (╮(╯_╰)╭)
Excerpt 2:
An Luoli: My dear butler, I don’t care what your motives are. As long as you’re mine, you can be my utterly loyal dog!
Luo En: As you wish, my Miss Li’er.
I’m no good at writing blurbs, so please bear with me!
A few things to note:
1. This story will include some events from the original, but I’ll be changing and condensing most of them, so quite a lot will differ from the original. In the first few chapters, little Luo Li will mostly appear in flashbacks, and the plot will mainly be condensed. Feel free to skip around, but some of my own additions will show up along the way (Did I just give something away?).
2. I’ll portray the Grandmaster somewhat negatively, but don’t worry, he’ll get redeemed later. The original says very little about Dai Mubai’s father, so anything that doesn’t match the original can be considered my own addition! (This is important.) Dai Mubai’s father will be portrayed negatively and will not be redeemed, so please be patient.
3. I’m just a student, and a science student with no feelings at that, so my writing isn’t great, and I might not portray the characters consistently. Please be understanding!
4. I’m sensitive, so please don’t flame me if you dislike something. Of course, feel free to share any suggestions with me.
If you can’t accept any of the above, please turn left at the door. Have a safe trip, and don’t let it hit you on the way out! Thank you!
Theme: Things aren’t always what they seem.
