--------Blurb--------

Shen Ningning is the legitimate daughter of the prime minister. Her stepmother schemes to injure her head, leaving her a foolish, vacant beauty. Then an imperial decree marries her off to Prince An, Sheng Chengyu, the emperor's legitimate second son, who suffers from a hidden ailment.

Everyone laughs themselves silly. "Yes, they're a perfect match."

Shen Ningning looks at her worried wet nurse. "Granny Cui, isn't becoming a princess consort a good thing?"

Granny Cui says, "Prince An has a hidden ailment. If you have no children, no one will protect you in the future. How will you get by? People may even covet your family's fortune."

Shen Ningning says, "Easy! I'll just make sure my husband doesn't have a hidden ailment!"

**

Sheng Chengyu has won many military honors, yet his father and mother despise him because he nearly died during his birth. He has become an unloved legitimate second son. His hidden ailment only makes people look at him askance.

Now, at twenty-one, his father suddenly takes pity on him and marries him off to the prime minister's foolish beauty, Shen Ningning. The emperor's excuse? "If they must live or die, they might as well have a partner."

Sheng Chengyu thinks he and his foolish princess consort will live separate lives under one roof, but she turns out to be a constant thorn in his side.

All day, she makes him drink every kind of tonic she can find, and keeps touching him. "Your Highness needs more massages to get your circulation flowing, so you can have a baby."

Sheng Chengyu roars, "Shen Ningning!"

Shen Ningning looks utterly innocent. "Your Highness, you have to listen and get treated!"

Sheng Chengyu stares at the foolish, vacant beauty. "..."

Later, he lets her run wild, plays along with her, makes her laugh, and spoils her rotten. In this life, he gives her all the splendor in the world.

**

Since entering the prince's residence, Shen Ningning has had just one goal: finding all sorts of folk remedies to "cure" Sheng Chengyu.

One night, under a bright moon and a sky full of stars, Shen Ningning follows one of her "remedies" and gives Sheng Chengyu a thorough "treatment." Suddenly, the blood clot in her brain disappears...

Coming soon: "The Treacherous Minister's Daughter Marries the Scheming Crown Prince." Please add it to your reading list.

To depose the crown prince and install the son of his beloved as heir, Prime Minister Qin Yuan impeaches the crown prince day after day.

Crown Prince Yan Jiting: You want to mess with me? I'll hit back, and I'll take your legitimate daughter, too!

He turns around and arranges for Qin Yaoyao, the prime minister's legitimate daughter, to marry into the Eastern Palace. He plans to treat her coldly every day and make her live as a widow.

Who could have guessed that Qin Yaoyao would eat well, sleep well, and enjoy herself every day, sometimes even leaving the palace to admire handsome men and feel her heart bloom?

At first, Yan Jiting smirks. "I don't care."

Later, Yan Jiting snorts. "I don't care."

Later still, Yan Jiting grits his teeth. "I. Don't. Care!"

The teacup in his hand shatters into pieces.

**

As the legitimate daughter of a notorious minister, Qin Yaoyao saw through her father's rotten nature from an early age. She didn't want to become his pawn, so she planned to save up a fortune, leave the prime minister's residence, and spend her life unmarried, eating, drinking, having fun, and taking down handsome men.

She never expected to be forced to marry her father's sworn enemy, Crown Prince Yan Jiting. Still less did she expect him to try to torment her by making her live as a widow. It was a double blessing: she woke up laughing several times on her wedding night!

So she happily feasts every day, enjoys forbidden books and erotic dramas every night, and slips out of the palace from time to time to smuggle out the gold and silver she has saved, while stopping to admire flowers, the moon, and handsome men. What a leisurely, comfortable life!

She plans to make her escape as soon as her scoundrel of a father and the crown prince start fighting, so she won't get caught in the bloodshed.

But for some reason, the way the crown prince, who treats her with icy courtesy, looks at her is becoming more and more strange...

A little scene:

One night, Yan Jiting approaches the bedroom with danger in his eyes. Qin Yaoyao flings the three rules he wrote at him: First, Qin Yaoyao must not approach Yan Jiting. Second, Qin Yaoyao must not approach Yan Jiting. Third, Qin Yaoyao must not approach Yan Jiting. Anyone who fails to follow these rules is a dog!

Yan Jiting: Woof, woof!
