[Blurb]
Min Zhen and Zhou Lin have been sworn enemies since childhood. They need three seconds to get on each other's nerves and five seconds to start cursing, and all their insults have been sharpened through practice with each other.
As adults, they enter a marriage of convenience. Their marriage contract spells it out in black and white: five years married, then divorce, no exceptions.
On the day of their divorce, Min Zhen marches Zhou Lin off to the civil affairs bureau to get their divorce certificate.
Zhou Lin drives while Min Zhen sleeps. When she wakes up, she finds the car parked beside a Michelin-starred restaurant that has been booked out. There's even a sign at the entrance:
Celebrating Min Zhen and Zhou Lin's Fifth Wedding Anniversary
Min Zhen: "Why are we at a restaurant? Are we still getting divorced?"
Zhou Lin: "Let's celebrate our anniversary first."
[Little Scene]
After they get married, Min Zhen's friends keep getting calls from her.
The first time, she says, "Married? Not really. At most, he's my roommate."
The second time, she says, "...We're getting along okay."
The third time, she says, "I think I might be in love."
Her friend finally asks, "With whom?"
"My husband."
