The Sect Master's Wife Turned Into a Peacock and Flew Away

Kong Qiu has lost his memories and most of his cultivation. Aside from tending the fire, he can't do a thing, but he's still the most gorgeous peacock on Ten Thousand Demons Mountain. Not only is he gorgeous, he also has a glowing egg.

To find the egg a reliable meal ticket, Kong Qiu has no choice but to join Xianyun Sect, earning a few small spirit stones each day by tending the alchemy fires. But in less than a month, Immortal Venerable Qi Yue forcibly abducts him and makes him his mount.

Qi Yue, the head of Xianyun Sect, is cold and impartial, hates evil with a passion, and has sent countless innocent demons to their deaths with his Green Edge sword. When the demons of Ten Thousand Demons Mountain hear his name, they run faster than the wind.

One day, the Immortal Venerable passes an alchemy furnace and sees at a glance that this "fire-tending boy" isn't human.

Not only is he not human, he's a little dim, and he has the same face as Qi Yue's Daoist companion, who was killed by a demon three hundred years ago.

Qi Yue (scoffing): A low-level trick. This has to be a demon trying to disrupt my cultivation!

Kong Qiu: Am I to blame for being born beautiful? Come quick, this kid needs a stepdad.

Xianyun Sect disciples watching: Damn, the sect leader's tastes got weird after his dead first love. He's actually getting with his mount!

A cold on the outside, warm inside, can't-help-falling-for-him Immortal Venerable x a beautiful, foolish, overconfident idiot of a peacock

One-on-one, happy ending

A melodramatic run-away-with-the-egg plot, and I'm my own substitute

Theme: Love at first sight is fated. After all the twists and turns, everything is bound to return to where it began.
