In this modern, dazzling city, demons and monsters are closer to humanity than ever. The closer they get, the less people seem to notice them. The one saving grace is that celestial masters still exist, though being one is no easy feat these days.
The three Zhong brothers were born into a family of celestial masters. They have vastly different personalities and abilities, and each has troubles of his own. Zhong Zai, the eldest, is the only one in generations of the Zhong family with neither spiritual power nor talent for exorcism. Yet he is determined to exterminate demons, punish evil, and uphold justice, even if it means tricking and borrowing power from the very monsters he fights. The second brother is a once-in-a-century genius, already an influential figure in the world of celestial masters at a young age, carrying responsibilities far beyond his years. The youngest has exceptional talent from birth, yet hates demons and monsters so much that he seals his own powers, leaves home, and pursues the ordinary, uneventful life he longs for.
The three Zhong brothers choose different paths. With the schemes of evil forces added to the mix, they become entangled in unexpected ways, unaware of one another's existence. Yet perhaps all roads were always destined to lead to the same place.
