[Mainly DC] A Research Report on the Gotham Knights

Thanks for asking. I'm in Gotham, and my name is Bruce Wayne.

Don't ask if I can fly. I'm Batman, not a bat. I don't drink blood, and I definitely don't sleep hanging upside down.

What on earth do you people misunderstand about Gotham's most handsome Dark Knight?!

"I'm exhausted and broken, living in reality but seeming to be haunted by nightmares. Yet Alfred says, 'You should wake up.'"

Note: This isn't Batman from the main continuity in the traditional sense. I'm afraid of ruining the Bat, but this isn't a transmigration story either.

It's not the main universe, so just treat it as a parallel universe.

The protagonist's characterization is a little unusual. If that's not your thing, click away.

A silly, out-of-character story, with a dominant protagonist.

Pairing: Batman/Superman

The Batfamily is mentioned. I love the Batfamily.

Content warnings:

Although this is a silly, out-of-character story, I'll still try not to stray too far from the characters' original personalities.

A lighthearted story. No character bashing and no angst. If there's any angst, it's just to vent by beating up Joker (I really do love Joker).

Damian is Bruce's biological son.

Superman and Lois are more than friends but not quite lovers.

No sweet romance. It's more about pure comradeship.

The story will include elements from various works, a chaotic mashup.

I hope they'll keep moving forward side by side.

Theme: World peace.
