No matter how time judges this relationship, and no matter whether it affects the future.

Mingli is a complicated person, weighed down by heavy memories. The world seems to him to be only black and white. Year after year, he lives in his memories, holding on so he can obtain the so-called redemption he longs for.

It's not that no one has tried to pull him out of the darkness.

But he has sunk too deeply into it.

Bai Ze is Mingli's light.

He draws near to Mingli and steps into his world. He fills Mingli's world with color, doing everything he can to pull him out of the darkness.

The inspiration came from A Ya.

Of all the stories I've written, A Ya is probably the most special character.

Albinism, gender dysphoria.

I came up with this character back in my first year of high school.

They may have some other personality disorders, too.

A Ya is a supporting character in this book, but this book truly exists because of them.

Prejudice against people with albinism and transgender people should have disappeared from this world long ago.

A Ya will grow up.

Mingli isn't the only one whose dreams will let him shine. A Ya's future will shine, too.
