Blurb: This is a bizarre and fantastical world.
A modern fantasy world.
And a world gone mad, without order.
Mo Qingqiong, a transmigrator from another world, has lost all his memories of the past. Yet he witnesses humanity's sorrowful and wondrous miracles:
Some refused to yield to fate, only to be trapped in a prison of hatred born from suffering.
Some refused to answer a call, only to become ensnared in the thorns of an obsessive love.
Some lost all their memories, only to obtain the ultimate key to the truth.
Mo Qingqiong is like a ghost wandering through the dark, unnoticed by the world. With his violet eyes, he gazes toward the black, rotting tower that reaches the heavens on the horizon, witnessing the miracles created by what is known as [God].
Once, a god toyed with humanity, hiding in the chaos of the night and smiling as it unfurled its claws.
Once, a god ignored everything, lurking in the cracks of time and space, instinctively devouring its prey.
Once, a god observed humanity, keeping watch behind a silver gate, waiting for the one who held the key.
This world is a miracle created by gods, and a miracle created by humanity.
But even before that, a certain god had stood silently behind Mo Qingqiong, watching him grow stronger, little by little.
Gods do not understand love.
And yet the two of them became each other's [miracle].
Notes for Readers
1. Lovecraftian setting. CP: an amnesiac, half-mad, somewhat capable investigator x a laid-back, onlooker-type evil god. Four major arcs, all inspired by the author's absurd dreams. 1v1. Top and bottom undecided for now, possibly switching; if there's a bottom, it will definitely be the male lead. Not much Lovecraftian description. My writing is average, so Lovecraft experts, please just treat this as a bit of fun. I'm just fixated on the evil god's body, and I'll admit it. If that's not your thing, please don't flame me, just click x.
2. The evil god's personality, appearance, and so on are almost entirely my own inventions. The characterization is probably very OOC, so read at your own risk. I wrote it all for my own enjoyment. I respect Lovecraft, who will always be a god to me, but my knowledge of Cthulhu Mythos is basically limited to the Keeper and Player rulebooks and countless Call of Cthulhu campaign scenarios where the dice goddess has repeatedly crushed me (sobbing into my hands). If you spot errors in the descriptions, plot, or setting, please point them out, experts.
3. The male lead doesn't appear in Chapter 1. The male lead doesn't appear in Chapter 1. He appears in Chapter 2. Why? Because Chapter 1 is a premise chapter, where the author figures out what plot holes this story needs to fill. The overall outline is being revised and will be posted in early April.
Theme: A ridiculous story written after being driven crazy by the tropes in all kinds of angsty novels.
