[A mischievous, possessive demon king with a wicked sense of humor VS a cool-headed, beautiful, tragic, and valiant hero]
Everyone says the Demon King of the Abyss has black hair and red eyes, and is a demon who burns, kills, loots, and commits every evil imaginable.
One day, the king orders the gathering of heroes to defeat the Demon King. Little do they know, the Demon King joins them in their quest to defeat himself.
Scene one: One day, the Demon King follows the hero into the Abyss.
Hero: "Why did your eyes just turn red?"
Demon King: "Um... I stayed up late last night."
Scene two: Before long, the Demon King follows the hero into the heart of the Abyss.
Hero: "Why has your hair turned black?"
Demon King: "I got tired of how it looked, so I dyed it yesterday."
Scene three: The final battle. The Demon King follows the hero to the castle in the Abyss.
Hero: "Why do you have wings and horns?"
Demon King: "Because I'm the Demon King."
The Demon King grabs the hero, spreads his vast black wings, and flies back to the castle.
Everyone, looking utterly bewildered:
Why is our kind little angel, who even helps injured animals by the roadside, the Demon King?
Why does the Demon King have so much free time?
Why didn't the Demon King kill us, and why did he take His Excellency the Hero away?
Is there something indecent going on between them?
!!!
Content warnings:
1. They probably switch (I like relationships between equals). The Demon King gets a tiny bit more point of view.
2. Fictional setting. Don't overthink it or scrutinize the details.
3. Both are fakers pretending to be harmless while hiding their strength. They're extremely vindictive and ruthless.
4. They're each other's first love and only one.
