Survival in the Tropical Rainforest

[This story was inspired by the Orange Light game and Call of Cthulhu tabletop role-playing games. The scenario was written by the author, and the players were two of my close friends. I've simply organized and recorded it here.]

A group of college students go on a graduation trip and plan to picnic in a simulated tropical rainforest. But the weather can be unpredictable. The forecast turns out to be wrong, and it starts raining as soon as they arrive.

The boys and girls divide up the tasks in an orderly fashion: the boys set up the tents, while the girls go scout the area. The forecast suddenly changes, unknown objects are scattered everywhere, and beneath the surface, people are locked in a battle of wits. What secrets are hidden in the rainforest?

Welcome to... Tropical Rainforest Survival!

[Things to know before reading]

1. Most of the plot is improvised, so it's normal if there are some logic errors, lol.

2. The messed-up parts are mine; the cuteness is theirs, including my NPCs and my lovely friends.

3. Some characters have appeared in novels I've written or plan to write. You can think of them as being from parallel worlds.

4. It was inspired by Orange Light and tabletop role-playing games, but we didn't play it in either of those formats. It's a bit of a hassle to organize, and this story is just a record of what happened, with a few adaptations, so the point of view switches around a lot.

5. Finally, thanks to all my lovely readers and my two adorable friends!
