[Entertainment Industry] A Stopgap Measure

Author’s note: The inspiration came from the news about gambling king’s passing and DX and HCL a while back. I also once read a quick-transmigration story about Long Ge that I can’t find anymore, so I’m writing one to satisfy myself. Waiting for the superstar’s return!

About the story: One is an Asian superstar and fashion icon; the other has lived three lifetimes and is the daughter of a gambling king. What could happen between two people with absolutely nothing in common? Different countries, different fields, different cultures. A practical arrangement turns out to be an unexpected delight.

2. I really dislike how so many older stories portray Long Ge as a womanizer and a jerk. I think that’s just how the outside world sees him. The Long Ge I write may have a few minor flaws, but he’s an ordinary person, not someone in a melodrama.

4. It’s a sweet story. There may be a few minor issues along the way, and the female lead’s golden finger is a little overpowered. Well, she’s lived three lifetimes, after all. And the author is her loving mom, so what can I do?
