In 1997, eight-year-old Ji Yu moved with his father, Ji Liming, to Jingming Community. There, he met children his own age: Li Hao, Wang Lin, Ye Xun, and Liu Ru. The five gradually grew close and grew up together, then slowly drifted apart. Only Li Hao stayed by his side all along. They went to elementary school, middle school, and high school together. Ji Yu had thought they'd keep going together forever. Then he realized Li Hao seemed to want to become a monk. Huh, become a monk? How could that happen with him around? So he started watching shows with Li Hao, taking him out to eat all sorts of delicious food, and going places with him. After Ji Yu's painstaking efforts, Li Hao was dazzled by the colorful world, until a girl asked him, "Ji Yu, you... do you like boys?"
Scene One
"Anyone who bullies him again, I'll bite them!" As if to prove something, the girl bared her teeth.
The children who had been acting so arrogantly ran off in every direction, terrified by the sight of her.
The boy sitting on the ground stood up, brushed the dirt off himself, and looked at her. He knew her. She was the little girl who lived in his apartment building. Right now, she looked just like the cat at his grandmother's house when it got riled up.
Hmm, I should pet her and calm her down, the boy thought.
Scene Two
"Ji Yu, Ji Yu!" The little girl with two braids called out before she had even entered the room.
The little boy, sitting ramrod straight at the table, didn't look up from his book.
"Ji Yu, Ji Yu!" The girl called again as she ran into the room.
The boy gave a quiet, "Mm," without changing his pose.
At the very first call of "Ji Yu," the boy had finally looked up at her.
"Nothing, I just wanted to call your name." As soon as she said that, the girl darted out.
Ji Yu was used to this sort of thing by now. When he saw that her figure had already disappeared from the doorway, he lowered his head and continued reading.
Theme: Work hard and build a better life
There is no one left in the only collection, it's okay, at least it proves that it's not a robot :)
