Put bluntly, she’s a backup dancer. Put nicely, she’s there to fill out the edges.

There are only two kinds of people in Pei An’s group: Jin Shiyuan and everyone else.

When both sides of an argument have people backing them, it’s called a conflict. When everyone sides with one person and leaves the other alone, it’s called ostracism.

The moment she chose to stand by and watch, she was already sick of being called a "backup dancer."

Let the kind-hearted do it, if they want to.

Because she can’t accept it, because even if she’s just a decorative edge in a painting, even if she’s the ridiculous backup dancer for someone else, even if there are a thousand reasons why... she is still the protagonist of her own life and someone else’s.
