Inventing Things in the Cultivation World

Chen Buyi, a tech-savvy engineering nerd, transmigrated into the cultivation world as the chief disciple of a major sect, blessed with excellent spiritual roots and the potential to ascend to immortality. But Chen Buyi wasn't happy. This world had no internet, express delivery, food delivery, or mobile payments. How was a shut-in supposed to be happy? No matter. He could build it all himself. And while he was at it, he also made Clow Cards, a golden staff, mechs, and a magic door that could take you anywhere... After several hundred years, Chen Buyi finally combined cultivation knowledge with physics to develop integrated circuits and light-emitting diodes, and repair the power cables. But he realized there were too few cultivators, and they lacked creativity. For a flourishing online world, he turned his attention to the mortal realm. Yet productivity was so low that most people struggled to get enough to eat, let alone find time for entertainment. What else could he do? Develop science and technology, of course!
