"My life is so small. One day, I will die.
Everything I have achieved will collapse, and the beliefs I have held to will be rejected. But that day, I will see countless souls across this vast world sharing my grief."
A note before you read:
1. This is an alternate-history story with no fantastical elements.
2. It is an ensemble cast with many characters and no single protagonist. Characters die often.
3. The story is expected to be around 750,000 words.
4. There are six volumes in total:
Volume One: The Night Before the Snowstorm
Volume Two: The Golden Age
Volume Three: The Old Banners
Volume Four: The Blood-Drinking Feast
Volume Five: Eternal Life in the Endless Night
Volume Six: A Brief Glimmer of Fire
5. In its early stages, this story was the product of Japanese-style fantasy mixed with the author's logical deductions. Over time, I kept revising it and removing the fantastical elements, turning it into the ensemble alternate-history story it is now. Therefore, the story is not based on any historical figures or nations, and my knowledge of history is not good enough to draw on historical models anyway. So please don't get hung up on the inspirations for the setting.
6. Different characters have entirely different views and interpretations of the same things. No character's views represent the author's own. Please don't read too much into them.
7. I am always revising the story. The changes mainly involve strengthening the characters' attitudes and personalities, polishing some dialogue, and fixing timeline bugs. The main plot has not changed. There may currently be inconsistencies caused by the revisions.
Theme: Even in the deepest darkness, there is still a glimmer of fire.
It feels like A Song of Ice and Fire, I mean, the level is so high
The layout and rhythm are not comfortable to watch on a mobile phone...
The plot is quite interesting and feels a bit like the journey during the Yuan Dynasty. All I can think about is Kublai Khan and Genghis Khan ε=ε=ε=(?◇??)?

So well written! The first two chapters of "Snowfall in the Forest" are so amazing. At first I felt a bit like a Game of Thrones writer, but you have completely written it in your own style! The plot is super rich, and the design is unique and full of twists and turns. In two chapters, the basic structure of the character relationship and the background of the story is clearly explained. It is so attractive that I want to read it again! Looking forward to the follow-up! Cheers (? ??_??)?
It feels like a serious story, which is quite rare here in Jinjiang. Alas, come on, the author. I hope that one day more people will discover it.
