Until one day, the first person infected by a mechanical aberration appears before the public...

Chi Yu is an orphan, adopted by an old woman who makes her living collecting scrap.

He is frail and sickly, so they raise him as a girl to make him easier to care for.

He grows up in the lower district, getting by on food from the neighbors and collecting scrap. Then one day, several armored luxury cars pull up outside his home...

A finely dressed butler strokes his head. "You aren't actually an orphan. You're the child of the chairman of Tuojia Group. Come home with us. Your grandfather is waiting for you."

Chi Yu is moved to tears.

So he really wasn't an orphan. He was the young master of a wealthy family, lost in the ordinary world.

In his hospital bed, the old chairman, covered in tubes, looks at him lovingly. "Granddaughter, Grandpa has finally found you."

Chi Yu: ???

Wait, what?? I'm... I'm a guy!

Not long afterward, the butler suddenly brings another beautiful girl to the old chairman.

"Sir, there was a mistake. This is the young lady."

The real heiress is kind. She doesn't kick Chi Yu out, and keeps sending him all sorts of nice things, treating him like a sister. Chi Yu is deeply touched.

Until one day, he discovers that the real heiress pees standing up!

Later...

The real heiress: "I'm so nice to you because I'm raising you to be my wife."

Chi Yu: "We can't. This won't work between us."

The real heiress lowers her voice. "Don't worry. I'm actually a guy."

Chi Yu lowers his voice too. "That's exactly what I'm worried about."

A few more things:

4. The bottom switches back to men's clothes later in the story, while the top remains a cross-dressing master (when will a cross-dressing top finally get to stand tall? This is so infuriating).
