Girl Group [Entertainment Industry]

When Starshine Entertainment released the concept poster for its new girl group, CL, it was met with mockery across the internet.

"What, Starshine buried GUGU and is already pushing a new girl group? Talk about shameless."

"Putting everything else aside, GUGU at least had decent faces. Sure, the members' dating scandals wrecked them, but they had the kind of looks you expect from a girl group. Can CL pull that off?"

"The concept poster only shows someone's back. Thanks, I guess. Their faces must be really ugly. If they were like GUGU, they would've shown them from the front by now."

"Flop group, get lost! Shamelessly leeching off their seniors. What a garbage company. Starshine is doomed!"

But after CL debuted and released their first song, everyone witnessed a crowd of haters turn into die-hard fans...

"I'll never say again that a tall girl who's 170 cm isn't suited to a girl group. Sob, those legs! They're the spring waters along the Seine! Hsss, haaa! I've licked right through my phone screen!"

"Are these four girls seriously heaven's favorites? My ears are pregnant! How are they so good? Starshine, having Cherry Girl is your good fortune!"

"Didn't people say this group had no real fans? Who's fighting me for photocards in the middle of the night?!"

Everyone: "Does your face hurt?"

The haters: "It hurts... but this is so good!"

Outsiders watched the fans' madness with amusement. Then, six months later, CL appeared on a variety show...

"Wait! Who's that werewolf skiing in the Alps?! Damn! A back-to-back 1440! Are idols in your circles this intense now? That's an earthquake even in the ski world!"

"Good grief, I've seen people hit high notes on roller coasters, but never someone sing 'The Qinghai-Tibet Plateau' without going off-key while bungee jumping. Your entertainment industry is so competitive, you're pushing it with the extreme sports crowd! I'm on my knees before you, ladies!"

"Guys, you need to think bigger. Did you see the information about the company that rented out the sea-going car your girl rode yesterday? Check out the shareholders, then look up the name of that familiar girl. This is absolutely explosive even by the standards of our finance world!"

Fans, passersby, and haters: "..."

Starshine, finding these girls is like having smoke rise from your ancestors' graves. You're unbelievably lucky!

Reading guide:

1. Ensemble cast. [Do not base any characters on real celebrities. There are no real-life inspirations.]

2. The main focus is their careers. All four girls are protagonists, but there is only one couple.

3. Although I changed the blurb, the story is still the same one I wrote several years ago.
