The Male Lead's Pretty Younger Sister Awakens (1980s)

Zhao Jing dreamed she was a character in a book, and that her older brother, Zhao Wei, was a cannon-fodder character.

In the original story, Zhao Wei and the male lead, Fu Tian, grew up together. Fu Tian started with a braised-food stall, then built factories and companies on the strength of his delicious food. His products sold across the country and overseas, and he became the richest man in the country, admired by countless women.

Zhao Wei, on the other hand, could only inherit the family pastry shop and live a dull life. Even his partner broke up with him because she had fallen for Fu Tian.

Devastated, Zhao Wei was egged on by his bad friends to pick a fight with Fu Tian. He lost every time and eventually racked up huge debts. Forced to sell the pastry shop, he took the risk of going to Africa to mine and died far from home.

When Zhao Jing dreamed about the story, Zhao Wei was just about to make a move against Fu Tian's braised-food stall.

To keep her brother and the Zhao family from meeting the same fate as in the book, Zhao Jing could only cling to her brother's clothes and beg him not to do anything stupid.

Fortunately, Zhao Wei doted on her. He took his little pastry shop seriously and never went looking for trouble with Fu Tian again.

Zhao Jing let out a sigh of relief. Great! As long as her brother didn't pick a fight with Fu Tian, she could keep happily buying braised food to eat!

Zhao Jing never expected her love of food to make her brother clash with Fu Tian again. This time, though, her brother became the owner of a famous nationwide pastry chain.

As for Fu Tian, he cornered her in the alley outside her home. “When are you going to tell your brother about us?”

Zhao Wei had bought delicious food for his little sister. Before he even got home, he saw his pretty little sister being cornered and kissed in the alley by Fu Tian. He dropped the bag in his hand. “Fuck you, Fu Tian! How dare you sexually harass my sister?”
