After Escaping Death, I Just Want to Be a Couch Potato [Infinite]

Yun Jianshui is famous for being a lazy coward who just drifts through life.

One day, disaster strikes without warning, and he nearly dies. The bar owner Dai Yanchen happens to pass by and saves him with little effort.

He is also forced to bind himself to an escape System. The only way to stay alive is to keep entering instance games.

Unmotivated Yun Jianshui: ...Escape from what? Life and death are up to fate. I’ll just lie flat.jpg

Dai Yanchen, seated on the sofa, raises an eyebrow and pulls a list from his coat: Pay off your debt before you die.

And so Yun Jianshui, with no savings, no income, and no family fortune, is forced to work at the bar to pay off his debt. He also has to regularly fight monsters, clear challenges, and grind through instances.

By a conservative estimate, he’ll be at it until he’s eighty...

Since there’s no way he can ever pay it off, Yun Jianshui lets himself go even more

Monsters chase him from behind, while the other escapees run for their lives.

He crouches motionless in a corner: I can’t run anymore. I’m too tired. I’ll just wait here to die.

Dai Yanchen, who followed him in, grabs the monster by the neck and casually snaps it, his voice chilling: Nice dream. Have you paid me back yet?

Yun Jianshui: ...

3. Entirely fictional! Entirely fictional! The setting serves the plot, and both leads have their own cheat codes.
