The New Adventures of the True Lord: A New Tale of the Lotus Lantern

If the Third Holy Mother were not Yang Jian's biological younger sister, if the Lord of the True Manor did not hate the Jade Emperor, his uncle, so much, if the Jade Emperor were not as cold and heartless as he seemed, and if the Queen Mother were a kind aunt, could Yang Jian's life have been a little happier?

This is a feel-good comedy. Second Brother is a drama queen who acts like a walking iceberg, but has a fiery personality and is a little adorably airheaded. He's the beloved one everyone dotes on.

Theme: Breaking the feudal system of one-man rule.
