Yu Xile has always been called fickle and cold-hearted because he keeps up the on-screen relationship he shares with every actor he plays opposite in real life, until his next role comes along. But Cheng Xiuhai knows that's not true.

Cheng Xiuhai has been by Yu Xile's side, supporting and protecting him for years, but Yu Xile has never once cast him as his leading man.

Years later, Yu Xile holds a rose and pins Cheng Xiuhai against a wall. Stumbling over his words, he asks, "Would you... be... the leading man in the rest of my life?"

Cheng Xiuhai looks at him, head bowed and hand trembling slightly where it rests against the wall. His eyes redden, and he smiles, bringing his gaze level with Yu Xile's.

"You've always been the leading man in my life."
